Version 1.0 · Effective October 9, 2026

This policy explains what information Mint Lounge Spa LLC (“Mint”, “we”, “us”) collects when you visit mintloungespa.com, request an appointment or receive our services, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Mint Lounge Spa LLC is a day spa located at 37-18 Northern Blvd, Suite 308A, Long Island City, NY 11101. You can reach us at [email protected].

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you prepare an appointment request we ask for your name, email, phone number, the service you are interested in, a preferred date and time and an optional note. When you write to us by email or Instagram we receive the content of your message.

Information for your treatment. Before or during a consultation we may ask about your skin, relevant health conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy and previous treatments, so that we can decide whether a treatment is safe for you. We may ask you to sign consent forms. We take before-and-after photos only with your written permission.

Payment information. Deposits, card holds and payments by card are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your full card number is entered into and stored by Stripe, not by Mint. We receive limited details such as the card brand, the last four digits, the expiry date and the payment status.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server records technical data for each visit (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) to keep the site secure and working. If you accept analytics cookies, we also collect anonymous statistics about how the site is used (see “Cookies”).

How the appointment request works

The request form on this website does not send your information to our servers. It prepares a message on your own device that you choose to send to us by email or by Instagram direct message. The email or messaging provider you use (for example Google or Meta) handles that message under its own privacy policy.

How we use your information

We use your information to: answer your questions and requests; schedule, confirm and remind you of appointments; provide treatments safely and keep your client record; process deposits, holds and payments and prevent fraud; send you aftercare instructions; comply with our legal, tax and accounting obligations; and, if you accept analytics cookies, understand in aggregate how visitors use the website so we can improve it.

We will only send you promotional messages if you ask to receive them, and you can stop them at any time. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

Cookies and similar technologies

Essential. We store a few preferences in your browser (your language, whether the ambient sound is on, and your cookie choice). They never leave your device and are not used to track you.

Analytics (optional). If you click “Accept”, we load Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and measure how pages are used. If you click “Reject”, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics is never loaded.

Google Maps (optional). The interactive map is provided by Google and may set its own cookies. It is only shown if you accept cookies or click “Show Google map”.

Our fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them but does not set cookies. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to run our business: with Stripe to process payments; with our scheduling and point-of-sale software provider to manage appointments and receipts; with Google for email, maps, fonts and (with your consent) analytics; with Meta if you contact us on Instagram; and with our website hosting provider. These providers may only use the information to provide their services to us.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, our team or Mint, and to a successor if the business is sold or transferred.

How long we keep it

We keep client and treatment records for as long as you are a client and afterwards for as long as required by applicable law (for example, tax and business records). Appointment requests that do not become appointments are deleted when they are no longer needed. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security.

How we protect it

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards: the website is served only over HTTPS, access to client records is limited to the people who need it, and card data is handled by Stripe, a PCI DSS–certified payment processor. If a security breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by New York law.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, to correct it or to delete it (except what we must keep by law), and you can withdraw your consent to analytics or to promotional messages at any time. Write to [email protected]; we will answer within 45 days and we will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's law.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Treatments for clients under 18 require the consent and presence of a parent or legal guardian.

Changes to this policy

Each version of this policy has a version number and an effective date, and a published version is never edited. When we change it we publish a new version on this page and keep the previous versions available below. Important changes will be announced on the website.
