These terms apply to the website mintloungespa.com and to the appointments and services of Mint Lounge Spa LLC (“Mint”, “we”, “us”). By using the website, requesting an appointment or paying a deposit, you agree to them.

Our services

Mint offers cosmetic and beauty services such as laser hair removal, lash extensions, facials and skin care. They are not medical treatment and are not a substitute for advice from your doctor. Results vary from person to person and are not guaranteed.

You agree to tell us truthfully about health conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy and recent treatments. We may require a consultation, a patch test or a signed consent form, and we may decline or postpone a treatment if it is not safe for you.

Appointment requests

Sending a request through the website does not book an appointment. Your appointment is confirmed only when Mint confirms it to you and, where required, your deposit is received. Preferred dates and times are subject to availability.

Prices on the website are in US dollars and may change; the price that applies is the one confirmed to you when you book. Services marked “by consultation” are priced after your consultation.

Deposits, card holds and payments

A deposit is required to secure an appointment. Deposits and other card payments are processed securely by Stripe; by paying you also accept Stripe's terms. Your deposit is applied to the price of your service, and the balance is paid at your visit.

Deposits are non-refundable, except when Mint cancels the appointment or where the law requires a refund.

For some services Mint may place a temporary authorization (a “hold”) on your card instead of, or in addition to, a deposit. A hold is not a charge. It is released when you attend or cancel within our policy; release times depend on your bank. If you do not show up or cancel late, Mint may capture up to the amount that was shown to you when you booked.

Cancellations, rescheduling and lateness

You may cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before your appointment. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice and missed appointments forfeit the deposit and may result in the capture of a card hold as described above.

The maximum waiting time is 15 minutes. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may shorten your service or treat the appointment as missed. Parking in the area can be difficult, so please plan extra time.

Preparing for your visit

Please arrive with no makeup and no contact lenses, and follow the before- and aftercare instructions we give you. Results can be affected if these instructions are not followed.

Packages and gift cards

Packages of sessions and gift cards are subject to the conditions shown at purchase. Packages are personal unless stated otherwise. Gift cards follow New York law.

Use of the website

The website and its content (texts, photos, logo and design) belong to Mint or its licensors and are provided for information. You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation or send automated or false requests. Links to other websites, such as Instagram or Google Maps, are governed by their own terms.

Your personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided “as is”, and Mint is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the website or our services. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under New York law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute will be handled by the courts located in Queens County, New York, unless the law provides otherwise.

Changes to these terms

Each version of these terms has a version number and an effective date, and a published version is never edited. New versions apply to appointments booked after their effective date; previous versions remain available below.

Te comprometes a informarnos con veracidad sobre condiciones de salud, medicamentos, alergias, embarazo y tratamientos recientes. Podemos exigir una consulta, una prueba en la piel o un consentimiento firmado, y podemos rechazar o aplazar un tratamiento si no es seguro para ti.

Solicitudes de cita

Enviar una solicitud desde el sitio no reserva una cita. Tu cita queda confirmada solo cuando Mint te la confirma y, cuando corresponda, se recibe tu depósito. Las fechas y horas de preferencia dependen de la disponibilidad.

Los precios del sitio están en dólares estadounidenses y pueden cambiar; el precio que se aplica es el que se te confirma al reservar. Los servicios marcados «con consulta» se cotizan después de tu consulta.

Depósitos, retenciones y pagos

Para asegurar una cita se exige un depósito. Los depósitos y demás pagos con tarjeta los procesa de forma segura Stripe; al pagar aceptas también los términos de Stripe. Tu depósito se descuenta del precio de tu servicio y el resto se paga en tu visita.

Los depósitos no son reembolsables, salvo cuando Mint cancela la cita o cuando la ley exige un reembolso.

En algunos servicios Mint puede hacer una autorización temporal (una «retención») en tu tarjeta en lugar de un depósito o además de él. Una retención no es un cobro. Se libera cuando asistes o cancelas dentro de nuestra política; el tiempo de liberación depende de tu banco. Si no te presentas o cancelas tarde, Mint puede cobrar hasta el importe que se te mostró al reservar.

Cancelaciones, cambios y retrasos

Puedes cancelar o cambiar tu cita hasta 48 horas antes. Las cancelaciones con menos de 48 horas de aviso y las citas a las que no asistas pierden el depósito y pueden dar lugar al cobro de la retención descrita arriba.

La espera máxima es de 15 minutos. Si llegas con más de 15 minutos de retraso, podemos acortar tu servicio o considerar la cita como no asistida. El parqueo en la zona puede ser difícil: planifica tiempo extra.

Cómo prepararte

Ven sin maquillaje y sin lentes de contacto, y sigue las indicaciones de cuidado previas y posteriores que te demos. Los resultados pueden verse afectados si no se siguen.

Paquetes y tarjetas de regalo

Los paquetes de sesiones y las tarjetas de regalo se rigen por las condiciones indicadas al comprarlos. Los paquetes son personales salvo que se indique lo contrario. Las tarjetas de regalo se rigen por la ley de Nueva York.

Uso del sitio

El sitio y su contenido (textos, fotos, logotipo y diseño) pertenecen a Mint o a sus licenciantes y se ofrecen a título informativo. Te comprometes a no hacer un mal uso del sitio, no interferir en su funcionamiento y no enviar solicitudes automáticas o falsas.
